Prof. José Luis Iriarte

José Luis Iriarte is Professor of Private International Law at the Public University of Navarre and holds the Jean Monnet Chair of the EU. He has given many lectures in International Law and European Law, in Spanish institutions and Universities all over the world.

His research has resulted in numerous publications. Particularly noteworthy are his monographs and his contributions in the form of various commentaries on different legal texts–one of them on the Civil Code, in a collaboration with the judges of the First Chamber of the Supreme Court of Spain.

Constantly since 2010, José Luis has been drafting reports and opinion articles for public and private entities in specialised areas: international contracts, public defence on coercive measures and enforcement of foreign judgments, among others.

Fátima Rodríguez González is a partner at Lupicinio International Law Firm, specialising in International Sanctions, Compliance and Criminal Law. She directs, develops and implements regulatory compliance strategies and crime prevention programmes in the corporate sphere. She is also a lecturer in Criminal Law at the University of Villanueva and an honorary collaborator at the Complutense University of Madrid. She has recently earned her Ph.D. in Criminal Law.

Fátima heads the Compliance Committee and the Diplomatic Commission of the Spanish association Women In A Legal World, where she is as well member of the Board of Directors.
