eLearning Format

The modules consist of scrolling text and images in a mobile-responsive layout, with many opportunities for interaction such as knowledge checks, clickable items, and more.

Each module includes animated, narrated videos and interactive elements in micro-learning segments of approximately 10 minutes each.

This format is well suited to audiences accustomed to reading online articles, is extremely mobile/bandwidth-friendly. Includes critical thinking assignments, engaging case study examples, check for understanding questions and other opportunities for interaction at intervals of no more than 5 minutes.

This ensures that participants do not passively listen/read for prolonged periods of time. Interactive components have been consistently proven to increase learner engagement and improve retention of material.

The OFAC Essentials Certificate Course is a 4-part course, consisting of approximately 3 training hours.
The course is delivered in an online self-paced format and has a quiz at the end.

How it is structured?

Part 1 - OFAC Foundations (30 minutes)
Provides an introduction, and explains what sanctions are and how OFAC applies them.
Part 2 - Sanctions and How OFAC Works (60 minutes)
Knowing more about OFAC sanctions and how the agency works can help your organization stay compliant and avoid penalties. In this module, we will discuss in more detail what OFAC sanctions are and how the agency works.
Part 3 - OFAC Risk Management and Enforcement (60 minutes)
In this module, we will review practical steps your organization can take to manage OFAC risks and ensure compliance.
Part 4 - Online Quiz (30 minutes)
This module is the end quiz and consists of 35 multiple choice questions.
You need 80% score to pass.
