We are very proud to announce the Launch of the ACSS Denmark Chapter taking place in Copenhagen, hosted by Gorrissen Federspiel Law Firm!

At this event, we will host officials from U.S. sanctions and export controls enforcement agencies who will discuss the recently-published U.S. Tri-Seal Compliance Note and related U.S. government guidance on sanctions and export controls enforcement.

Camilla C. Collet assists Danish and international companies with M&A transactions, commercial contracts, reorganisations and other transactions, often of an international nature and where the understanding of commercial principles is paramount. Camilla has particular expertise in the life sciences segment where she has assisted with numerous acquisitions, sales and investments in life sciences companies. She advises pharmaceutical companies, biotech companies and manufacturers of medical devices on a current basis. Camilla also has experience with transactions within, among other things, industry, real property, insurance and the entertainment industry. As head of our Compliance & CSR cross-practice group, Camilla advises on anti-corruption, export control, sanctions and business ethics, among other things. Finally, Camilla has experience with board duties and regularly lectures on M&A, Contracts and Compliance.

Scot Gonzales

Export Control Officer (ECO) Scot Gonzales joined the Frankfurt BIS team in 2021 and currently serves as the Frankfurt-West ECO where he represents BIS throughout the western European region. Scot is an 18-yr veteran agent of the Office of Export Enforcement (OEE) where he most recently served as a Supervisory Special Agent of one of the units within OEE’s headquarters. Scot’s expertise includes interagency cooperation initiatives within the U.S. government where he has served as the OEE liaison officer to various agencies as well as represented OEE in the Australia Group bio/chem control regime, Missile Technology Control Regime, and the Nuclear Supplier Group control regimes and plenaries. As well, he has extensive experience in corporate engagements with companies large and small. Scot has also been the recipient of several Department of Commerce Gold Metals for innovative investigative techniques and superior performance. Prior to his employment with OEE, Scot served as a police officer, parole officer and corrections officer all while obtaining advanced degrees and his license to practice law.
