Brian Gatta

Director
TURBOFAC (Sanctions, Inc.)

Brian is the director of the company that operates the TURBOFAC Comprehensive U.S. Sanctions Research System and Encyclopedia at www.sanctions.org; a niche research tool that helps hundreds of sanctions lawyers resolve difficult interpretive questions presented by OFAC-administered sanctions laws. In this capacity he has drafted over 8,000 pages of technical commentary on the 6,000+ OFAC-related primary source documents housed in the Research System. Brian is also an external consultant to the sanctions practice of a large U.S. law firm and the instructor of the ACSS OFAC Masterclass (Fall sessions beginning Oct. 18, 2023).
