Description:

Join your fellow sanctions professionals on July 27, 2023 for an important webinar on UK sanctions. We will delve into the latest updates and future outlook and provide practical guidance for you to protect you and your organization.

Since Christmas 2022, the UK government has made significant strides in reinforcing the authority of the Office of Financial Sanctions Implementation (OFSI), the country’s sanctions enforcement body. Notably, they have introduced new legislation that imposes strict liability for breaching financial sanctions, along with a substantial increase in OFSI’s enforcement team. Moreover, OFSI has issued comprehensive and expanded guidance on sanctions compliance and its enforcement approach, including insightful information on assessing “control” by a Designated Person.

The UK’s approach to sanctions is evolving, which has had an unforeseen impact on UK businesses. Even organizations never affected by sanctions are now dealing with the impact of the sanctions regime. Don’t miss this opportunity to join our panel of experts as they analyze these recent developments and provide insights into what to expect over the next six months.

Secure your spot now to ensure you remain well-informed and prepared to navigate the changing landscape of UK sanctions.
