Brandon is Senior Manager within the KPMG US Trade and Customs practice. He is trained as an attorney out of Boston University School of Law with a B.S. in Business Management and B.A. in History from Boston College.

At KPMG, Brandon assists major multinational clients in the Life Science, Oil and Gas, Chemical, Industrial Manufacturing, and Aerospace & Defense industries navigate the complexities of global trade compliance. I’ve led a wide-variety of internal and government-sanctioned audits of global trade operations across five continents, and assisted in numerous large-scale global trade optimization efforts for U.S. corporations seeking increased operational maturity and compliance.

Luke Karamyalil

Luke assists his clients in all aspects of international trade laws and regulations, including import and export compliance. He also assists clients in ensuring their internal processes meet Customs’ “reasonable care” standard. Luke has experience helping clients navigate specific trade laws and regulations, including those that arise under the Foreign Agents Registration Act, the Trade Adjustment Assistance Program, anti-boycott compliance, Foreign Ownership, Control, or Influence (FOCI) mitigation, and anti-dumping and countervailing duties.

Luke is a certified Legal Lean Sigma Institute (LLSI) White Belt, and uses the LLSI process and project management tools to continually improve the value proposition his firm delivers to clients.

Elizabeth Shingler

Elizabeth is a senior manager in KPMG’s Trade & Customs practice in the Richmond office. She has supported clients in managing complex trade matters, including identification and remediation of potential import and export compliance challenges. Further, Elizabeth has assisted multinational companies in performing anti-forced labor risk assessments, as well as identifying and implementing the optimal global trade compliance structure.

Elizabeth is also the Trade & Customs knowledge leader in which she monitors and assesses the impact of regulatory changes to help clients assess the potential impact on their businesses.
