Come join us for the launch of the ACSS Florida Chapter, hosted by Raymond James and Guidehouse Solutions.

This in-person event will feature a star keynote – Anthony Lanzillotti of BIS – addressing us on the future of US export control policy, followed by a chance to network with your sanctions colleagues over drinks and nibbles.

  • 5:30 – 5:45: Registration
  • 5:45 – 6:00: Welcome from John Voss of ACSS, and introduction by our Chapter Chair – Karen Moloney.
  • 6:00 – 6:30: Keynote – Special Agent Anthony Lanzillotti, U.S. Department of Commerce (BIS)
  • 6:30 – 8:30: Networking with drinks and nibbles

Special Agent Anthony Lanzillotti

Anthony “Tony” Lanzillotti has been a Special Agent with the U.S. Department of Commerce Office of Export Enforcement (OEE) since 2019. He transferred from the New York Field Office to the Forward Assigned Post – Tampa in November 2021. He carries out the BIS/OEE Mission in Central Florida, “Keeping the Most Sensitive Items Out of the Most Dangerous Hands”. Aside from conducting investigations and providing Outreaches regarding the Export Administration Regulations, Tony serves as the Department’s Liaison Officer to U.S. CENTCOM and U.S. SOCOM, as well as a Task Force Officer with the FBI, and the Academic Outreach Coordinator for Florida.

Prior to OEE, Anthony spent over 14 years as a Special Agent with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) in Newark, New Jersey. While at HSI, Anthony worked in the Newark Airport Internal Conspiracy Group, the Financial Investigations Group, and the Counter-Proliferation/Commercial Fraud Group. Anthony also held various collateral duties including Firearms Instructor, Senior Defensive Tactics Instructor, and Evidence Custodian.

Prior to his career in federal law enforcement, Anthony worked in various positions in Homeland Security, Maritime Security, and Maritime Transportation in both the private and government sectors while serving as an officer in the United States Navy. As a member of the Navy Reserve, Anthony attained the rank of Lieutenant Commander and was qualified as an Anti-Terrorism Officer (ATO), Ship Security Officer, and Firearms Instructor before being Honorably Discharged. He received his commission from the United States Merchant Marine Academy where he studied Marine Engineering.
