This 75-minute presentation will provide a high-level overview of the threats posed by cyber activities attributed to the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). State-sponsored attacks against a range of industries and countries have been used by the DPRK to violate existing sanctions. The presentation will highlight the following areas:

  • The cyber threat landscape
  • DPRK cyberattack examples
  • Critical controls for defending IT networks

This 75-minute webinar will help sanctions compliance workers understand the risks associated with cyber attacks by sanctioned countries, particularly the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK). DPRK-sponsored cyber threat groups use cyber attacks to circumvent sanctions control measures. Participants will be provided with details on the attack methods used by these threat groups, how these attacks facilitate the evasion of sanctions, and effective cyber security controls to help mitigate these risks.
